Open Swim

The Valmiera Olympic Center’s swimming complex features a 25-meter-long, 8-lane pool (depths of 1.2 and 2.2 m) and two separate 8 × 12.5 m teaching pools, suitable for children to learn to swim and for family recreation in the water. A pool ticket is valid for 1.5 hours; a 2.5-hour ticket also grants access to the relaxation area with saunas, a salt room, whirlpool baths, a current pool, and the children’s water play area (open on weekdays from 4:00 p.m.). For children aged 4 and older, schoolchildren, students, seniors, and people with disabilities, admission is nearly half price; children under 3 are admitted free of charge. Families receive a 10–20% discount; holders of the “Goda ģimene” card receive a 20% discount; and on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays starting at 4:00 p.m., seniors can visit the relaxation area and the pool for €10.
