Frequently asked questions

How to find an activity, how to sign up for it, and how organisers can list their own.

For visitors

What is Boorel?
Boorel is a catalogue of clubs, camps and activities in Lithuania and Latvia – for children, adults and seniors. Groups, times, venues and prices are in one place. We do not run the activities ourselves; we help you find them.
Does it cost anything to use Boorel?
No. The catalogue is free to use and you do not need an account.
How do I find the right activity?
In the search filter by city, category, age, weekday, price or the language of the sessions. Pick a country and a county in the top menu to see only the activities there.
How do I sign up for an activity?
Directly with the organiser: the activity page lists their phone, e-mail or a link to their sign-up form. Boorel takes no sign-ups and no payments.
Is the information accurate?
It comes from the organisers or from what they publish themselves. Times and prices can change, so check with the organiser before signing up. Spotted a mistake? Write to info@boorel.com.
What does “free” mean?
Participants do not pay for the sessions – these are usually run by municipalities, culture centres or libraries. If materials are paid for separately, the price note says so.
Are there activities in English, Russian or Polish?
Yes. Choose “Language” in the search filters – the filter appears when there are such activities in your country. A card names the language when the sessions are not in the local one.
Why are there only a few camps?
We show only camps whose dates are already announced. Organisers usually publish summer shifts in January–March and school-holiday camps a month or two ahead.
I cannot find an activity I know. Why?
The catalogue keeps growing. Suggest that the organiser adds it for free, or write to us at info@boorel.com.

For organisers

How do I add my activity?
Create an organiser account, confirm your e-mail and add the activity: a description, groups (age, price) and times with a venue. Then submit it for publication.
How much does a listing cost?
Listing is free.
When will my activity appear in the catalogue?
We review what you submit and publish it; you will get an e-mail when it is live. The catalogue shows activities with at least one group and a time with a venue.
My activity is listed although I did not add it. Why?
Some entries are based on information you publish yourself, with a link to the source. If you want to manage the entry, correct it or have it removed, write to info@boorel.com and we will do it right away.
How do I update my information?
Sign in and edit the activity, its groups and times in your account. Replace the times of a finished season with new ones – activities without current times are not listed.
How do I hide or remove an activity?
On the activity page in your account press “Unpublish” – it leaves the catalogue but its data stays, so you can submit it again. To have the data deleted completely, write to info@boorel.com.
Which photos can I upload?
JPG, PNG or WebP up to 8 MB; the first one is shown in lists. Upload only photos you have the right to publish – if children can be seen, with their parents’ consent.
What are tags and the session language for?
Tags (“For beginners”, “With parents” and so on) help people find the activity in the search. Set the session language if the sessions are held in another language than the local one – people can filter by it.
