Hands-on honey session and beeswax candle workshop

At an apiary in Lielvārde parish the group hears about the beekeeper’s craft, sees the tools, learns about the bee’s life cycle and its role in nature and tastes bee products. The main task is to mix a honey blend of your choice, fill a jar, decorate it and design and print its label. A beeswax candle pouring workshop (owl, unicorn, teddy bear and more) can also be booked, and children can run around the farm’s large grounds.
