Museum lesson “A story of bread and milk”

A museum lesson on how grain becomes flour and bread and how freshly milked milk turns into dairy products, as well as on life on a traditional farmstead. Children visit the open storage exhibition “Mājā un sētā” with farm tools from the Valmiera area, learn to recognise grains and grind flour themselves. At the end they taste different kinds of bread with freshly churned butter.
