Educational session “Who lived in Cēsis Medieval Castle?”
Description
A 90-minute programme at Cēsis Medieval Castle: led by castle servants, pupils learn about the life of the Order brothers in a military monastery, try the strength and agility games knights trained with and the board games servants played in their free time. They walk through the castle garden, the medieval courtyard, the chapel and the Master’s Hall in the West Tower. The content is adapted to the pupils’ age; it takes place outdoors, with part of it indoors in the cold season.
