Description
The Ainaži Fire-Fighting Museum tells pupils in grades 1–4 the almost hundred-year story of the town's volunteer fire brigade, founded in 1926, with photos, helmets, hoses, a hand siren and hand pumps. In a role-play the pupils become firefighters, volunteer helpers and townspeople, build an Ainaži landmark from photo cubes and then save it from a pretend fire. The lesson is held at the museum or brought to a school, for up to 20 pupils at a time.
