English'Man, tree, cultural value' – a woodcraft lesson with master woodworkers
Description
Experienced woodworkers from Namdara darbnīca show pupils how people and trees have shaped each other over time, using folklore, poetry, applied-art pieces and finds from nature. The pupils try classic hand tools and traditional woodworking techniques themselves and see how wooden design objects are made. The lesson for grades 1–12 can be brought to the school or held at the workshop.
