Tauragnai Regional Museum is a branch of the Utena Museum of Local Lore in the culture house, where the Teofilis Tilvytis memorial museum opened in 1971. The exhibition covers the history of Tauragnai from 1261 to 1990, the local nature and notable people, deportees and freedom fighters. There is an educational classroom dedicated to Eugenija Šimkūnaitė, and educational sessions can be booked (up to 90 min, €6 per person).

- Thursday – saturday 10:00–17:00
- Tauragnų krašto muziejus 0.80 € – 1.60 € / visit Adults €1.60; pupils, students, seniors and others entitled to a discount €0.80; free for pre-school children and for all visitors on the last Saturday of every month
