Description

Formed on October 3, 2019, the modern folklore ensemble “Zobalda” performs original Lithuanian folk songs that they have arranged themselves, blending them with music of various styles. Here, folklore serves as a source of inspiration for new musical compositions—elements of folk music take on a new, contemporary sound in experimental music. The repertoire also includes original compositions whose lyrics and melodies are inspired by folk songs. The ensemble performs at city festivals and other events.
