Description
The Samogitian Theater is an amateur theater that has been operating at the Skuodas Cultural Center since 1995, performing in the Samogitian dialect and helping to preserve it. The actors stage comedies and dramas, perform at annual celebrations, and participate in amateur theater festivals in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia; the theater has won the “Golden Bird” award. Rehearsals take place in the hall of the cultural center.
