Description

The “Žeiria” (meaning “ember” in the Dzūkija dialect) folk ensemble has been singing songs from the Varėna region, performing dances, playing traditional games, and preserving local customs since 2009; In 2019, it won the “Golden Bird” award. The ensemble consists of more than 20 people of various ages and professions. Everyone who loves Dzūkija songs is welcome—you can sing, play music, dance, or simply learn together.
