Description
“Liuoksinis” is the folk dance group of Juliaus Janonio gimnazija for gymnasium students. Rehearsals take place on Tuesday afternoon and evening in several 45-minute blocks, with two leaders working with the dancers. Members learn Lithuanian folk dances, dances in pairs and circle dances, and prepare programmes for school and city events. The group runs as one of the school's after-school (non-formal education) clubs, so it is for this school's students; anyone who wants to dance should contact the leaders or the school office.
