EnglishYouth choir
Description
Active since 1989, the Vilnius Archcathedral youth choir has more than 40 members and sings on Sundays at the 12:30 Holy Mass. Its repertoire is wide – from Gregorian chant to large-scale works such as Mozart's “Coronation Mass” and the “Stabat Mater” by Verdi or Dvořák – and it also sings Masses by Lithuanian composers. The choir has performed in many European countries and takes part in World Lithuanian Song Celebrations and sacred music concerts. New singers are welcome – come to a rehearsal or to Holy Mass.
