Description
In Palanga, a Lithuanian Riflemen's Union Young Riflemen club for younger students (ages 11–15) meets on the premises of Švietimo pagalbos tarnyba. Following a four-level program, members learn outdoor survival, first aid, topography and orienteering, drill and safe weapon handling (shooting with laser and air rifles), and there are hikes, camps and state holiday commemorations. Students aged 11–18 can become Young Riflemen, and activities are free; to join, fill in the “Tapk jaunuoju šauliu” form on sauliusajunga.lt, submit the documents and take the young rifleman's pledge.
