Young Riflemen

The young riflemen club at Kudirkos Naumiesčio Vinco Kudirkos gimnazija was revived in 2016: its members organize hikes and pledge ceremonies on February 16 and March 11, traditionally take part in the January 13 run in Vilnius, and learn outdoor survival, first aid and map reading. Activities follow the Lithuanian Riflemen's Union four-level program, and during school breaks the young riflemen go on hikes and to camps. Taking part is free: fill in the “Tapk jaunuoju šauliu” form at sauliusajunga.lt or contact the club leader; you become a young rifleman by taking the pledge.
