Description
The “Birštono” Young Riflemen club of the 2nd Vytautas the Great Riflemen's Regiment, for older students; it meets at Birštono sporto centras, and sessions are held mostly on Saturdays as training exercises and hikes. Young Riflemen are students aged 11–18: they learn first aid, orienteering, outdoor survival, drill and safe handling of laser and air guns, go on hikes and to camps, and take part in state holiday commemorations. The Lithuanian Riflemen's Union's Young Riflemen activities are free; to join, fill in the “Tapk jaunuoju šauliu” form on sauliusajunga.lt, submit the documents and take the young rifleman's pledge.
