EnglishWomen's choir “Virgo” for female students – Vilniaus universitetas, Vilnius
Description
“Virgo” is the Vilniaus universitetas women's choir, founded in 1980, in which about 40 female students and graduates from various faculties sing. The repertoire covers choral music of different eras and styles; the choir sings at Lithuanian Song Celebrations, takes part in festivals and competitions in Lithuania and abroad, and has won international awards. New members are welcome throughout the academic year: you need to want to sing and be able to come to rehearsals twice a week, while extensive choral experience is not required. A short audition is held before a rehearsal.
