Wind Instrument Lessons

In the wind instrument class, students can choose between the flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, or trumpet; individual lessons focus on breathing and tone production, while the wind ensemble allows students to play together. Students in grades 1–2 are accepted into the elementary music education program; in the first year, lessons are held once a week, and later twice a week; all first-graders take solfège, and participation in the children’s choir is recommended. For older youth, there is a 2–4-year amateur program, and adults can study in the adult program; instruments can be rented from the school.
