Wind Instrument Lessons (Flute, Saxophone)

In the wind instruments class, students can learn to play the flute or saxophone: individual lessons focus on breathing and tone production, and advanced students perform in the school’s ensembles and orchestra. Children begin the elementary music education program (4 years) at ages 7–8; 9-year-olds may be admitted directly into the second grade; Older children and adults choose the four-year amateur program, which focuses exclusively on the instrument of their choice.
