The “Vyželė” dance studio at the Vilkaviškis Cultural Center is now in its third decade. During that time, it has trained several generations of dancers, performed dozens of dances, and participated in numerous concerts, celebrations, and festivals. Since 1998, the studio’s groups have participated in all Lithuanian and schoolchildren’s song festivals, and the studio regularly competes in “Aguonėlė,” the Lithuanian competitive festival for children’s and schoolchildren’s folk dance groups. The studio has been awarded Category I status.
