Violin Lessons

In the violin class, children learn to control the bow, play in tune, and play with accompaniment during individual lessons, and in group lessons, they study solfège, ensemble playing, and orchestra. Children begin the elementary music education program (4 years) at ages 7–8; 9-year-olds may be admitted directly into the second grade; Older children and adults choose the four-year amateur program, which focuses exclusively on the instrument of their choice.
