Description
The Vievis Line Dance Group was formed in early 2016 as part of the Healthy Lifestyle Department at the Vievis University of the Third Age, and in the fall of 2017, it joined the Vievio Cultural Center and adopted the name “VievioLin.” The group consists of about 15–20 members in both advanced and beginner classes. Line dancing involves a repetitive sequence of steps performed in lines without a partner, making it suitable for people of all ages and skill levels. The group participates in the “Visagino Country” festival, competitions organized by the Line Dance Federation, and the international SOLO dance festival in Palanga; they also perform at events hosted by the Vievio Cultural Center and in productions at the Vievio Theater.
