Description
“Pliumpa” is a band formed in 2014 at the Virbalis Cultural Center and named after the artesian well in the town square. The band plays traditional Lithuanian folk music as well as compositions by contemporary artists, and performs at local festivals, the “Grok, Jurgeli” competition, and other festivals. The group consists of adults and students who play and sing together; the director is Alfonsas Juškevičius.
