Description

Formed in 1990, the Polish vocal ensemble “Grzegorzanie” brings together people from various professions; over the years, the number of members has fluctuated between 30 and 15. The ensemble devotes a great deal of attention to promoting Polish and Lithuanian regional culture and cherishes Polish national traditions and language; its repertoire includes patriotic, folk, stylized, and songs from other nations. The group actively participates in events in Grigiškės, performs in cities across Lithuania and Poland, and has maintained cultural ties with the Polish city of Tomaszów Lubelski for more than thirty years. Rehearsals are held twice a week at the Grigiškės Gymnasium or the Grigiškės Cultural Center.
