Swimming on Your Own

Renovated school swimming pool in Žirmūnai: 4 lanes, each 25 m long; depth 0.8–1.8 m; water temperature 26–29 °C; features a Finnish sauna. Open swimming is available only on weekday evenings and on weekends; visits last 2 hours (including time to change). Adults and 16–17-year-olds with a signed parental consent form may swim independently—these times are not available to younger children. A 20% discount applies to schoolchildren, college students, seniors, and people with disabilities; payment can only be made by card at the ticket office. In the second half of August, the pool closes for annual maintenance.
