English“Striķu mazpulks” Young Farmers' Club
Description
The Striķu sākumskola club welcomes pupils in grades 1–6; meetings are on Thursdays after school. Mazpulki is the Latvian 4-H movement: every year members carry out their own project (growing vegetables and flowers, handicrafts, a small business), join clean-up days and community work, present their projects at the Mazpulki forum in the fall, and go to the “Visu daru es ar prieku!” camp in summer. To join, contact the club leader or the school.
