Description
The “Īve” multifunctional center of the “Cerību spārni” society in Smiltene, at Dakteru iela 14a, provides day center and specialized workshop services for people with intellectual and other disabilities. In the workshops, visitors pour candles, work with clay, make handicrafts, do woodwork, sew, knit and learn housekeeping, gaining independent living skills and socializing. Some of the products are sold in the shops of the social enterprise “Visi Var”. Activities take place on weekdays (the society's working hours are 8:00–18:00); to ask about a place and how the service is assigned, contact the society.
