Description
In Bauska, at Rūpniecības iela 9, the “Cerību spārni” society runs a multifunctional center where people with intellectual and other disabilities attend a day center and specialized workshops. Under the supervision of specialists, they pour candles, make tile mosaics, do handicrafts and ceramics, sew, do woodwork and learn housekeeping, developing practical and independent living skills. Identical workshops also operate in Iecava, at Baldones iela 65. Activities take place on weekdays (the society's working hours are 8:00–18:00); to ask about a place and how it is assigned, contact the society.
