Description
The social workshops at Pal. J. Matulaičio socialinis centras are for adults who want to build work and communication skills, especially people with intellectual disabilities. Participants pour candles from soy wax and beeswax, make postcards and collages, create icons, draw, take part in music sessions, learn to use a computer, tend the garden and review texts in easy-to-read language; a lot of attention is given to self-advocacy. The center works mainly with residents of Viršuliškės, Šeškinė and Justiniškės; to take part, contact the center.
