Description

The Šakiai district branch of the LASS (Lithuanian Union of the Blind and Partially Sighted) south-western center brings together people with visual impairments. Branch members receive free community-based social rehabilitation: they learn everyday independent living skills, safe mobility and orientation, develop occupational and work skills, and make handicrafts that they present at fairs. When needed, an escort and transport are arranged. Šakiai District Municipality lists the branch among the organizations that bring together people with disabilities. To take part, get in touch by e-mail – session times are arranged individually.
