Description

Founded in 2013 at the Kybartai Cultural Center, the “Smiltys” art studio carries on the tradition of the student art club that has been active since 2008. The studio’s members strive for professionalism in painting, develop their skills in other artistic fields, collaborate with professional artists from Poland and Russia, and invite professional artists to their summer plein air sessions to offer master classes. Their work is exhibited not only in galleries but also in the Tadarinė Forest and the Šilelis Forest near Lake Vištytis; the studio members’ works adorn public spaces and enrich museum collections.
