Šiauliai District Literature Museum and exhibitions

The Naisiai Culture Centre occupies the former manor house of the Counts Zubov, where the poet Zigmas Gaidamavičius-Gėlė was born. It houses the Šiauliai District Literature Museum: the poet’s room with family belongings, displays on the region’s writers and literary life, and a collection of medals dedicated to writers and their characters. A photo exhibition “Poets’ Springs in Naisiai”, marking the 50th anniversary of the Zigmas Gėlė Prize, is also on show.
