Description
The Vilnius Seniors’ Community is an association for retirees and people over the age of 50, founded in 1991, with more than a thousand members. It operates through branches in various districts of Vilnius (Antakalnis, Balsiai, Karoliniškės, Lazdynai, Naujamiestis, Šeškinė, Šnipiškės, Vilkpėdė, Viršuliškės, Žirmūnai, Žvėrynas, and others) as well as clubs; it has about 16 singing, dancing, folklore, and theater groups, a foreign language club, and organizes lectures, celebrations, excursions, and a summer health camp. To become a member, contact your nearest branch; a membership fee is required.
