Radio-controlled glider models – RJTC, Bauskas Street, Riga

In this club at the Riga Young Engineers’ Center, children and young people aged 8–25 build and fly model airplanes themselves — primarily radio-controlled gliders that fly without an engine, using air currents. Special materials are used for the models, such as the world’s lightest balsa wood. The students participate in various competitions and events; the club is led by Sergejs Timofejevs.
