Private Pilot License (PPL) Courses

The Kaunas County Aviation Gliding Club Pilot School (LT.DTO.012) teaches students to fly Cessna 150/152 and L-13 “Vivat” aircraft; It is recommended to begin learning to fly at age 16, and a Private Pilot License (PPL) is issued only to adults. The program includes 45 hours of flight time: circuit flights, route flights, and landings at other airfields and airports. Theory (the same as for glider pilots) is taught remotely from January through April, while practical training takes place during the flying season according to a schedule agreed upon with each student; a Class 2 aviation medical certificate is required. Payment can be made in installments.
