Description

The 2026 powerlifting championship of Latvijas Neredzīgo sporta savienība (LNSS) will take place on October 31 in Rīga. Athletes with visual impairments perform three lifts – the squat, bench press and deadlift; the rules are the same as for sighted athletes, except that the coach may guide the athlete to the platform and help them orient themselves. Each lift gets three attempts. To take part, register and find out the exact venue, contact LNSS by e-mail in advance.
