Description
The central branch of the Panevėžys District Music School in Krekenava accepts children ages 6–11 into a four-year elementary music education program, which can later be continued in secondary education. In Krekenava, students learn to play the piano and the traditional kanklės (as part of the “Kanklytės” ensemble), and children sing in a joint youth choir; the annual “Muzikinė mozaika” piano and string instrument competition is held there. The fee is 7 € per month.
