Percussion Lessons

In percussion classes, students learn individually to play drums and other percussion instruments, developing their sense of rhythm and coordination. Students in grades 1–2 are accepted into the elementary music education program; in the first year, classes are held once a week, and later twice a week. All first-graders take solfège, and participation in the children’s choir is recommended. For older youth, there is a 2–4-year amateur program, while adults can study in the adult program; instruments can be rented from the school.
