Paragliding School

The “Adrenalīns” paragliding school in Riga teaches students to fly from scratch: Course 1 covers theory, reserve parachute drills, and ground work with the wing, two tandem flights with an instructor and 12 solo flights; the second course covers meteorology, aerodynamics, and 20 solo flights with maneuvers. The paraglider is lifted into the air by a winch cable at the Rumbula airfield; all school equipment is provided at no additional cost, and theory classes are conducted remotely. You can obtain a pilot’s license starting at age 12 (minimum height 1.50 m, minimum weight 45 kg; minors require consent from both parents). From April through September, classes are held on weekday evenings starting at 5:00 p.m.; from October through March, classes are held on weekends.
