Description

Formed in the fall of 2016, the Šilalė Cultural Center’s cheerful music ensemble “Padkava” consists of five musicians. Their repertoire consists of humorous songs of their own composition, Lithuanian folk and country music, and works by Italian composers. The musicians play the violin, harmonica, guitar, 12-string guitar, bass guitar, drums, percussion, and accordion. They have performed not only in the Šilalė district but also in neighboring districts and abroad—in Kandava (Latvia); In 2019–2020, they appeared on the TV show “Duokim garo.” The ensemble organizes the “Brizgėls” festival of lively music.
