Description

The “Optymiści” senior citizens’ community in Nemenčinė, founded in 2011, has been operating as the Polish community’s University of the Third Age since 2012. Members gather in a small hall at the Nemenčinė Cultural Center: they attend lectures on history, literature, and health; learn to use new technologies; exercise; dance; sing; do crafts; and travel around the Vilnius region and Poland.
