Description
The Kretinga branch of Lietuvos aklųjų ir silpnaregių sąjunga (Lithuanian Union of the Blind and Partially Sighted) brings together more than seventy people with visual impairments. For many years the branch has had a music group in which the members themselves sing and play, and a social services specialist helps with everyday matters. Members receive free community-based social rehabilitation: skills for independent living, self-expression and a healthy lifestyle, activities, emotional support, an escort and transport arrangements. To get involved, contact the branch at J. K. Chodkevičiaus g. 10 or by e-mail; rehearsal and activity times are agreed with the branch.
