Description
The Museum of Happiness in Indra, set up in a former Lutheran church as a gift for Latvia’s centenary, is an interactive museum that invites everyone to look for their own answer to the question of what happiness is. Visitors can choose the “Laimes formula” programme with hands-on activities, a tour of a Riga porcelain collection with a herbal tea tasting, or the “Scent laboratory” workshop. There is an exhibition with an audio guide and a tactile map for visually impaired visitors, and a room selling local crafts.

Price: 1–4 € / visit (Ticket €2 (pupils, students, pensioners and people with disabilities €1); “Laimes formula” programme with a guided tour and hands-on activities €4 (concession €2, adult groups €2–3); porcelain collection visit with tea tasting €2 (concession €1); “Scent laboratory” workshop €4. Free for children under 7 and for women named Indra.)
