“Medeinė” Scout Troop

The Medeinė troop of the Šventoji scout group (Kaunas region) of Lietuvos skautija (Lithuanian Scout Association) has been active in Bukonys, at the Bukonys branch of Justino Vareikio progimnazija, since 1995. Lietuvos skautija members come to meetings, go on hikes and outings, camp, and learn scouting skills, first aid and teamwork in a patrol. There are groups for junior scouts (Cub Scouts) and scouts. You can join by filling in the “Tapk skautu” form at skautai.lt; the annual Lietuvos skautija membership fee is €17 (with discounts for families).
