Description
The Lithuanian folk dance club is for third- and fourth-grade pupils at “Versmės” gimnazija who want to learn Lithuanian folk dances. In class children learn basic steps, circle dances, dance games and simple stage dances, and develop their sense of rhythm, posture and the ability to dance in a pair and in a group. The young dancers show the dances they have prepared at school celebrations and town events. Classes are held twice a week and are free; you can sign up with the club leader or at the school office.
