Description

The Lithuanian folk dance club at Lieporių gimnazija is for gymnasium students who want to learn Lithuanian folk dances. Once a week, on Wednesday afternoons, members learn steps, dancing in pairs and circle dances in the assembly hall, and work on coordination and posture. The club is led by a dance teacher who also teaches ballroom dance and the dance group “Lieporė” at the school. It is one of the school's after-school (non-formal education) activities for its students; to take part, contact the teacher or the school office.
