Description

A Lithuanian folk dance club for students in grades 5–8 at Kazimiero Paltaroko gimnazija. In sessions, members learn Lithuanian dance steps, figures and circle dances, get to know the dance traditions of different regions, and develop a sense of rhythm, posture and the ability to dance in a pair and in a group; the dances they learn are shown at school celebrations. The session takes place once a week – on Thursdays, in the seventh lesson, in the dance hall. The club is free and intended for the school's students.
