Linguist Juozas Balčikonis memorial room

In 2018 the Ėriškiai library set up a memorial room for the linguist, lexicographer and translator Juozas Balčikonis (1885–1969), who was born in the village. The display includes his personal belongings and books, material from the museum of the closed Ėriškiai school and village household items from his childhood years. Visitors can book the educational programme “On the Path of the Great Linguist” with the quiz “Find the Right Word” and the game “Things of the Past”.
