Description
Formed in 2019, the Anykščiai Cultural Center’s traditional zither ensemble earned a “Golden Bird” nomination and a Category I award in 2024. Today, the ensemble consists of 16 members, and its repertoire includes instrumental pieces and folk songs performed on 10-string kanklės. Everyone is welcome—whether you play the kanklės, dream of learning to play, or don’t even know how to read music.
