Description
“Lakiūtė” is a sutartinės ensemble that has been performing in Švenčionėliai since 2014; its repertoire consists of sutartinės and polyphonic songs recorded in eastern Lithuania. The group performs not only on stage but also outdoors—on hillforts, around campfires—and participates in the “Skamba skamba kankliai” and “Mėnuo Juodaragis” festivals, as well as song festivals. The group is led by ethnologist Milda Petkevičienė.
